How God Uses Suffering of Paul

The Purpose of Suffering Christianity

Suffering Makes Fruit

Why Does Paul Boast About His Sufferings

When Paul tells the Corinthians of his ordeals, he plainly assures them he is boasting (2 Corinthians 11:16-21). For Paul, his sufferings, which he calls weaknesses, are boastworthy precisely because they leave so much room for God's strength to be revealed in Paul's life.

What is purposeful suffering?

The principle we walk away with is that suffering is purposeful. All hell, pain, and hardship fall under the providential control of God. And he is aiming to do amazing things in it and through it for our good and his glory.

Do you ever go through suffering in your walk? I know I have. It is hard going through suffering, but when you get to the other side, do you see the Hand of God in it? Why does god allow suffering? Is God punishing you? Or was God doing a work of transformation? Did you learn anything from it? Paul went through many times of suffering. Because he was thrown in jail, he produced the written material of the new testament bible. Paul's grief for Christ's purposes. Suffering produces fruit.
