Scriptures on Healing
Ephesians 1:2-3 "
2 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others."
Jesus Gave Us Victory over Sin. The Great Exchange
Reconcile means to exchange. Jesus traded places "we were slave to sin but the prison doors were flung open wide, the chains broken, and you are reconciled to God.
Many don't see this.
2 Corin 5:21 "21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."
Romans 5:17 "17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.):
It was finished:
The power of sin is broken. We can still be tempted and still fall into sin. But Jesus gave us victory over sin.
We can still fall short - that is why Jesus died for us to give us victory and give us a way to be cleansed again.
You gotta learn to leave the past behind
Let go of your past sins - JEsus forgotten it.
Don't believe negative words over you - not eternal. That is not you. Royal robe
Discern the good and evil - know who is talking to you.
Don't believe the lies.
Jesus Loves you - he forgot your past when you confessed your sins and accepted him.
Galatians 2:20 "20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."
We live by faith in the spirit - not in the flesh
It is finished - being born again. You are now His child, adopted, royal priest,
Death was defeated. We get eternal life with Jesus and God.
Romans 6:5-7 "5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin."
Some of you had bad dads or mothers and equate God that way. No You are now crucified with Christ. You have been cruicified to the sinfulness of the world. That means there is no common ground between you and the world any longer. You are no longer part of this world. No common ground with sin.
2 Corin 5:17 "17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
We still have to renew our minds - with the Word of God. Our war is between our ears.
Satan knows this and throws fiery darts. We need to recognoze good and evil. Fiery darts
11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
We have to realize that sin will always exist until Satan and his kingdom is destroyed then no more curse.
You must learn to walk in the new life in Christ. You will be tempted to fall back into new patterns. The importance of renewing your mind. HOw
How
That means old friends may need to change.
Leting go of the old you and seeing yourself a new person a new life in Christ. You do not have to sin.
1 Corinthians 10:13
13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
How not to fall into sin. Hate the sin.
Know you can overcome and not fall. If you do run to Jesus and confess. He will always forgive you.
1 John 2:1-2 "2 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
When it is finished, it means the power of the law is broken.
We need to see when we are sick that 80% have spiritual roots - Look for open doors, repent and stand in faith, believing for your healing.
Healing is for us today. Pray, seek God, Get answers, Take Responsibility and stand on the promises of God on healing, have faith and believe, praise him for the healing even if you have no evidence.
Ps. 103:5 "he came to heal all diseases. He took everything on the cross. We need to believe he has already taken our sickness and disease to the cross.
If you have wrong thinking and live with guilt, or fear, fight the good fight with scriptues. Satan is a liar. He will remind you of your past sins - is it under the blood? He will remind you of your failures. He will remind you what others have done to you. Forgive them. Unforgiveness is the biggest block to healing.
Satan will condemn you of things you did in the past. Did you give it to JEsus?
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
See that you deserve healing. Healing is for you.
If you mess up, don't live with guilt and shame. Go to Jesus. Don't do what Adam and Eve did.
Col 214 "14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;"
Bottom line, sin causes sickness bible verse.
