For those who want a deeper relationship with the father. The dark night of the soul has to do with mind, will, and emotions. This is where you have to conquer your soul. Sometimes, we allow our emotions to rule. Sometimes, our wills don't align with God's will. So, we go through the dark night of the soul to die to self and align to God's will, no longer ruled by feelings but depending on god verses. Also, developing a deeper relationship with god. The Dark Night of the Soul is explained, so it takes understanding the Dark Night of the Soul stages.
